BLUN Imagine
Imagine creates new images from a description and edits existing ones to a clear brief. That gives you fitting visuals for products, websites, campaigns and content directly inside the BLUN platform.
From an idea to a finished image, with AI
BLUN Imagine is the AI image model of the BLUN platform. It turns straightforward descriptions into new images, develops visual variants and can work on existing material further. You can use it to produce AI images for websites, products, campaigns and social media, and to edit images you already have.
Users do not need to master technical jargon or perfect image prompts. A plain description of the intended result is enough to start from. Imagine can derive the subject, composition, mood, lighting, style and format from it. Where the direction is not yet settled, the model can first develop several visual approaches before a final image is chosen.
Imagine works directly alongside the other BLUN models. King can plan the whole campaign, Queen develops the message and the copy, Imagine produces the accompanying images, and Prince turns them into variants for different channels and formats.
Usage by tier
Imagine has no token context window like the BLUN text models. On the free tier and on paid tiers, usage is instead governed by image capacity — for example the number of generations and edits, the resolutions available, variants or further image features. The specific amounts have to be set out in the pricing overview.
Creating images from text
Imagine produces new images from a description. The user can set out both what should be shown and how the result needs to come across.
Details you can specify include:
- the subject and the objects shown
- setting and background
- image style and the aesthetic you want
- lighting mood and colours
- camera angle and framing
- portrait, landscape or square format
- the intended audience
- where the image will be used
- clear areas for headlines or buttons
From “Create a high-quality hero image for a European AI platform”, this can produce a purposefully composed website image that leaves room for a headline and matches the brand effect you are after.
Editing existing images
Imagine can do more than create new images: it can also take existing material as its starting point. Individual elements can be changed, added or removed, and colours, style, background, format and overall effect can be adjusted just as readily.
Typical edits are:
- replacing or removing the background
- adding or removing individual objects
- matching colours to a brand
- extending an image to a different aspect ratio
- producing different variants of a product
- changing style and lighting mood
- developing existing image ideas further
- adapting images for different platforms
Assets you already have can therefore go on being used, without starting a full production from scratch for every small variant.
Coherent campaigns instead of one-off images
A good brand image rarely works on its own. A campaign needs several images that belong together and yet show different things. Imagine can carry a chosen visual direction across a whole series.
From one central image, variants can be produced for:
- the website hero
- a landing page
- a social media post
- stories and portrait format
- a newsletter
- an advertisement
- a product category
- a presentation
Style, lighting, colours and visual language stay as consistent as possible throughout. The result is a coherent visual presence rather than a collection of unrelated individual images.
Visualising products and ideas
Imagine also suits early concept work. A product idea, a piece of packaging, a room or a user interface can be visualised before an expensive production begins. Teams can compare different directions and decide sooner which one to pursue.
Possible applications are:
- product concepts and design ideas
- packaging directions
- scenes for advertising campaigns
- visual mood boards
- storyboards
- website and app mockups
- illustrations
- background images and textures
- presentation visuals
These drafts help with alignment and with finding ideas. For production data accurate to the millimetre, technical drawings or binding depictions of a product, specialist design and CAD tools remain necessary.
Directing brand style in plain terms
Imagine can take visual requirements into account where colours, style, mood and the intended effect are clearly described or set out through reference material. Queen can turn a brand description into a consistent visual language, which Imagine then applies across several images.
This makes it possible to establish, for instance, that a brand is always shown with calm compositions, natural light, few colours and a particular sense of material. Those rules can be reused in later image work, so that new assets do not start from nothing every time.
Where Imagine sits in the BLUN model family
Imagine is the visual layer of the BLUN platform. The model creates images from text, edits existing material and develops coherent image series. It is connected directly to BLUN's text models, agents and products.
Typical tasks for Imagine
- “Create a hero image for our new product page with space left for the headline.”
- “Develop three visual directions for this campaign.”
- “Remove the background and match the colours to our brand.”
- “Produce four social media variants in the same style.”
- “Visualise this product idea in a realistic scene of use.”
- “Extend this square image into a portrait format for a story.”
- “Create a coherent image series for the website, the newsletter and advertising.”
When Imagine is the right choice
Use Imagine when:
- an image should come out of a description,
- different visual ideas need comparing quickly,
- existing images have to be edited or extended,
- a consistent series is needed for several channels,
- product or campaign ideas should be visualised early,
- images are to be built into a BLUN workflow directly,
- a brand needs new visual assets on a regular basis.
For published campaigns, image rights, recognisable brands, real people and sector-specific requirements should be checked. With products it must also be clearly apparent whether an image shows a real property or merely a conceptual depiction.
