BLUN Queen
Queen is the professional BLUN model for demanding day-to-day work with code, documents, content and tools. It combines high quality with dependable speed, which makes it the right choice for most professional tasks.
Professional AI for demanding day-to-day work
BLUN Queen is the professional AI model in the BLUN family. It combines deep understanding, dependable reasoning and high-quality results with greater speed and efficiency than King. That makes Queen suitable for demanding everyday work as well as for software development, document analysis and productive agents.
Queen is emphatically not a writing or translation AI alone. The model can analyse complex tasks, develop code, work with tools, produce structured data and turn extensive information into concrete results. Text, translation and brand communication are among its strengths, but they make up only part of what it does.
With a context window of 1,000,000 tokens, Queen can process very large document collections, long conversations, extensive project information and entire areas of a codebase together. The model can connect information from widely separated parts of the context, recognise contradictions and pick relevant details back up. Queen therefore offers not only premium capability for individual tasks but also the working space needed for large professional projects and bodies of knowledge built up over time.
Context window by tier
- Queen on the free tier: up to 256,000 tokens
- Queen on a paid tier: up to 1,000,000 tokens
On the free tier, Queen comes with a large context window of 256,000 tokens. That is enough for long conversations, extensive documents, larger areas of a codebase and many professional workflows. On a paid tier the full context window of one million tokens is unlocked. This lets Queen take account of considerably longer project histories, document collections and connected bodies of code within a single task.
The professional standard model
Queen is intended for work where quality matters but the task does not necessarily call for a top-end model running over long periods. It understands specialist instructions, keeps to prescribed formats and can adapt its output to audience, tone, level of detail and intended use.
The model can, for example, produce a technical analysis, then set out the key decisions as an executive summary and derive concrete tasks for a development team from it. In other words, it can prepare the same information for different roles without losing the thread.
Software development and technical work
Queen can write production-ready code, explain existing code and implement clearly defined features on its own. It suits day-to-day work on web applications, APIs, databases, automations and internal tools.
Typical technical work includes:
- developing and revising individual features
- building frontend and backend components
- API integrations and data processing
- tests, fault analysis and code reviews
- refactoring clearly defined areas
- SQL queries and database logic
- technical documentation
- structured output for downstream systems
Where a task spans a great many interdependent components, where an entire architecture is to be planned afresh, or where an agent has to work independently over a longer period, King is the stronger choice. For the bulk of professional development work, however, Queen is faster and more economical.
Making sense of documents and putting knowledge to use
Queen can read longer texts, policies, reports and project documents and derive from them exactly the information the task at hand requires. It can summarise, compare and restructure content, and translate it into concrete next steps.
Possible applications include:
- reports and executive summaries
- comparing several quotations or documents
- extracting decisions, tasks and deadlines
- building FAQs from internal material
- turning unstructured notes into clear documents
- checking for contradictions, gaps and unclear wording
- preparing support and knowledge bases
Queen does not simply deliver a shortened version. The model can rebuild content for different audiences, explain how things connect and bring the most important consequences into view.
Writing, translation and brand voice
Queen can produce professional text from the first idea through to a publication-ready version. In doing so the model takes account not only of spelling and grammar but of audience, tone, brand voice and intended effect.
Among other things, it suits:
- websites and landing pages
- product descriptions
- newsletters and campaigns
- proposals and presentations
- support replies
- internal communication
- social media content
- translation and linguistic adaptation
- copy-editing and stylistic revision
Queen does not translate content word for word. It can carry meaning, tone and intent across into the target language and adapt the wording to the market in question. The result is text that reads naturally and does not come across as machine translation.
Tools and agents
Queen can be connected to functions, APIs and other tools. It can recognise when a tool is needed, hand over the right data and then process the result intelligibly. That makes Queen a dependable core model for support agents, internal assistants, research tools and productive business processes.
Examples include:
- retrieving customer data and drafting a fitting reply
- handling orders or cases according to clear rules
- bringing together information from several systems
- producing structured JSON output for further automation
- checking documents and creating tasks in a project system
- analysing support cases and preparing a solution
Where Queen sits in the BLUN model family
Queen forms the professional premium class within the BLUN model family. The model is intended for demanding professional work, software development, agents and high-quality analysis.
Queen deliberately sits above a typical fast standard model. It is meant for work where a result you can rely on is expected, but where King, with its maximum capability and long-running orchestration, is not required.
Typical tasks for Queen
- “Analyse this document and produce a clear basis for a decision.”
- “Implement this feature, write the tests and document the interface.”
- “Revise our home page and keep the brand voice consistent across every section.”
- “Summarise the meeting and separate decisions, risks and tasks.”
- “Compare these three quotations and explain the key differences clearly.”
- “Answer this support case politely, accurately and with concrete next steps.”
When Queen is the right choice
Use Queen when:
- professional quality is expected,
- code, documents or data have to be handled reliably,
- the task is demanding but clearly defined,
- tools and structured output are required,
- tone, style and audience matter,
- a capable agent is needed for day-to-day operation,
- speed and cost remain relevant.
When another model makes more sense
King is the better choice for extremely complex, long-running or as yet unstructured projects. Prince is a better fit for very fast standard answers, high request volumes and clearly defined routine work. Voice handles spoken content, while Imagine takes care of the visual side.
